A 55-year-old man identified as Magaji Dansale, has allegedly r*ped his 7-month-old step daughter in Marmachi village of Musawa Local Government Area, Katsina State.

The mother of the baby, Zeenat Muntari, told journalists that she separated with the father of the baby and married Dansale. Davido Helped Me Find My Sound – Tekno Reveals

Billboard Magazine: Davido Helped Me Find My Sound - Tekno
Tekno, has landed an international  feature in Billilboard Magazine. The magazine published an article which talked his rise to fame, getting the attention of Columbia Records among many other things.
Billboard not only profiled the multi-talented singer, they also made it known he is set to break into the American market.
On the successful ‘Pana’ track, Billboard said:
“Pana,” has gone on to entrap other listeners the same way it conquered its creator, accumulating 30 million streams between YouTube and Spotify. Veterans like Trey Songz and Ludacris have posted clips of themselves listening to the song on Instagram, and “Pana” also caught the attention of Imran Majid, senior vice president of A&R at Columbia, who signed the track and re-released it in December. “
Tekno, on his own end gave credits to DMW boss Davido, saying the latter launched him to the spotlight by collaborating on his song ‘Holiday’ which was released in 2013. He said:
“That was the song that got me a breakthrough. I found my sound: connecting with the ladies. It’s more love songs now than anything else.”
On his song ‘Duro’, Tekno said it:
“The whole of Africa danced to [‘Duro’]. I started traveling heavy, my fee went up, more girls, more attention. That was: he’s bad and he’s here to stay.”
Columbia Records’ A&R Imran Majid revealed how he discovered Tekno. He told Billboard:
“‘Pana’ popped on to my radar through a viral video on Facebook of a couple dancing to the song on the beach,” he remembers. “I heard it, loved the song, flagged it.”
“It’s a bonus when an artist is coming out of a scene. There’s a network of great artists coming out of West Africa, and this music travels very quickly in the U.S., in Canada, in the U.K., throughout Europe.”
“You have an audience here that already know the record through the club scene — mixers, DJs. Streaming helps because you don’t have to dig, it’s much easier to access. You already have a base, and that helps spread the word of mouth until the mainstream gets it.”

He added:
“Warm weather favors records like this. It’s good timing to start it in the mix-show scenes in the cooler months and then take it to the next level come spring and into the summer.”
Majid further talked about Pana saying it is a positive thing for the record label. He said:
“The luxury that we have is his team is so strong in the African market that they can start other records there. For them, ‘Pana’ is an old record; they go onto the next one. We can focus on ‘Pana.’”
Tekno on his latest project said:
“I’m currently shooting the video for ‘Yawa,’” he says. “It’s gonna be the No. 1 song — until I put out another song.”

Conte, Emenalo differ on Diego Costa’s replacement at Chelsea

Chelsea’s Sporting Director, Michael Emenalo, and manager, Antonio Conte are of different opinions as to who replaces striker, Diego Costa at the end of the current campaign.
While Everton striker, Romelu Lukaku, is believed to be top of Emenalo’s list to replace Costa, the Blues boss, Conte wants Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.

Don’t hide under uncertainty around my future – Wenger warns Arsenal players

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has warned his underperforming players not to hide under the uncertainty surrounding his future at the club.
The Frenchman has not confirmed if he will leave the Emirates when his current deal expires this summer, or he will sign the two-year deal on the table and stay.
They host Manchester City this Sunday and Wenger has told his squad to man up.
“Being professional is to perform on the football pitch and not to find escape in excuses where I think there are not,” he said on Thursday.
“Results are not going the way we want, but we have to make sure that the priority for us is what happens on the pitch.

“I want the players to focus on their job. Their job is to perform and for me [it is] to help them to perform and to develop as players. That is, for me, what matters, really.
“I agree that at West Brom [where Arsenal were poor in losing 3-1 in their final game before the international break] we had blind possession – we had 70 per cent possession going nowhere. There was something missing.
“What really matters at the moment is to stick tighter and show that we care about the end of our season, about this club and about our values that we stand up for.
“It is in difficult periods that you see the difference in quality between people.”
