Barring any last minute change, President Muhammadu Buhari will today and exactly 2pm present the 2017 Appropriation bill to the joint session of the National Assembly. Buhari, who was slated to present the budget at about 10pm today, failed to keep to the scheduled time. Recall that the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki had last Thursday in a letter informed the National Assembly that he would be presenting the 2017 Appropriation Bill at about 10pm today. However, a source who spoke with DAILY POST said the President is expected to present the bill at about 2pm today, refusing to give further reason on why the time was adjusted.
