Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu calls Buhari a mad man who cannot jail him[VIDEO]




nnamdi-kanu Incarcerated leader of the Indigeneous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a “mad man” who cannot jail him. Kanu, who also doubles as the Director of Radio Biafra made the remark at an Abuja Federal High Court in Abuja during his trial on Tuesday. The IPOB leader alongside Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, are currently facing trial on an 11 count charge bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony and publication of defamatory matter. Reacting to Justice Binta Nyako’s ruling which allowed witnesses to testify against him in private, the feasibly angry Kanu snapped back saying he would would not be jailed by a “mad man.” According to Kanu, “Tell Buhari that he is a mad man, he cannot jail me. “They are killing my people, IPOB, and he does not want me to talk, it can’t happen. “There are laid down court proceedings but the government does not respect, they don’t obey court orders. “Because Buhari appoint judges, he therefore intimidates them, tell him he cannot intimidate me, if others will have it I will not. “In which country of the world does a President appoints his sister as a judge, he appointed Nyako from Katsina to jail me, tell him no body in his government is learned enough to jail me.” Kanu had earlier caused a major stir in the courtroom when he rejected secret trial.
