The accused, whose address was not given, is facing a charge of stealing.

The problem with home-base players – Rohr

The problem with home-base players – Rohr
Gernor Rohr
The hope of getting a call-up into the senior national team as the country prepares for the 2018 world cup seams bleak for the Nigerian Professional League Players.
The Super Eagles Manager-Gernot Rohr- yesterday hinted that he was not comfortable with the age factor of the Nigerian home based players pointing that as  the reason why they rarely get call up to the national team.
Though Rohr started by including at least one home based player in his squad but has failed to name any of them in the 3-1 win over Algeria and the recent friendly against Senegal in London.
Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa was the only home based player to have find favour in the Franco-German coach, but even at that, he has found games hard to come by as the third choice shot stopper.
This does not in anyway mean the door is shot on best players in the league.
” The door is always open for the best players. The Nigeria League players must prove themselves with the CHAN team first, because at the moment we have a winning team, so the home based players must prove they deserve a place in the team”, Rohr said in an interview on radio.
” There is an existing problem with Nigeria based players. We cannot tell their real age.”
This has however generated hit up debate.

I Sacrificed S*x to Davido and others For Fame And Fortune – Adokiye

Singer Adokiye, who gained fame for declaring her virginity to the world, in a new interview with Potpourri, has revealed why she sacrificed her sex life for music.
In her words:

“ I sacrificed the idea of even having sex for fame and fortune, in order to get to where I am and where I am going. I had to stay away from sex. I want to be pure in the process of chasing my dreams because I believe some things can contaminate and pollute the process,” she offered.
Upon being reminded that there are many female singers out there, having active sexual lives and at the same time enjoying tremendous success,

“If they are, then, I’ m sure there is something they have sacrificed for their fame. At least for the time they started and up on till this time. It could be marriage or something else that is not very visible. Most that are more successful then me are older and not married. Something just got to be sacrificed, depending on what works well with personal resolve and discipline. Most times, one must sacrifice something for fame and fortune.”

Recall the same Adokiye, is the one who vowed some years back to give up her virginity to any man who could buy her mum a private jet. Same Adokiye, is the one who offered her virginity to insurgent group, Boko Haram in exchange for the abducted Chibok girls. Her last offer was made to  Davido.
