Dont miss reading what Man United Fromer Manager Said The Team Has Lost

Former Manchester United manager David Moyes says the club have abandoned their traditions ahead of his return to Old Trafford with Sunderland on Boxing Day.
Moyes, 53, lasted just 10 months as United manager after succeeding his Scottish compatriot Alex Ferguson at the helm in May 2013.
His two successors, Louis van Gaal and current manager Jose Mourinho, have invested heavily on new players and Moyes believes the present-day United are a different club to the one he joined.
“Manchester United was a club with great traditions that they tended to pick British managers. That tradition has now gone,” Moyes said, in comments published by British media on Saturday.
“They are a football club who had traditions with the way they spent. They didn’t try to compete with all the others clubs.
“They tried to do what they thought was the right thing to do and spend in the right way.
“I could say that’s gone, so I think there have been a few changes at United, but that’s the way they have chosen to go.”
Moyes repeated a claim that he was “definitely unfairly treated” by United and revealed he had missed out on a string of high-profile transfer targets.
“When I first went in my real target was Gareth Bale,” said Moyes. “I felt all along that Gareth Bale was a Manchester United player.
“I fought right until the last minute. We actually offered a bigger deal than Real Madrid.
“But Gareth had his mind made up on going to Real Madrid. That was, in my mind, the player I really wanted to bring to Manchester United.
“The other one was Cesc Fabregas, who we thought we would get right up until the last minute.
“I remember when I first met Sir Alex and he always said there was a chance (Cristiano) Ronaldo might come back.
“So that was the level we were targeting. I was not going out to bring in seven, eight players, because we had a squad which had just won the league.
“Toni Kroos was agreed to come in the summer. I had agreed it with Toni himself and his agent. Sometimes you don’t get deals done.
“A lot of players come into Manchester United and have not necessarily made the difference.
“But I think that, given time and having got to this period, I would have hoped I would be working with a successful team now.”
United are sixth in the Premier League table ahead of Sunday’s game and chasing a fourth successive league win, with Sunderland in the relegation zone.

Boxing day: Chelsea VS Bournemouth....drop your prediction

In the absence of Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante Chelsea has to win their match as they go for their 12th straight Premier League victory when Bournemouth travel to Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
The league leaders will be without their leading goalscorer and midfield anchor for the visit of the Cherries, with both players serving a one-game ban for their fifth yellow cards of the season in last Saturday’s victory at Crystal Palace.
Costa’s 13th goal of the season earned the Blues a hard-fought victory at Selhurst Park and moved Antonio Conte’s men six points clear at the top of the table after a club record-equalling 11th successive league win.
Chelsea are just two victories away from equalling the Premier League’s all-time winning streak record, but Bournemouth left Stamford Bridge with all three points last season.

Eddie Howe’s men head to west London looking to extend an impressive Boxing Day record, with the Cherries unbeaten in each of their last six league games played on December 26 (W4 D2 L0), conceding just one goal in the process.
Team news
Chelsea could turn to Michy Batshuayi to replace Costa or switch from the 3-4-3 formation which has underpinned their winning run.
Club captain John Terry remains out with a gluteal strain.
Howe will not be able to play on-loan Chelsea defender Nathan Ake, who is not eligible for selection against his parent club.
However the Cherries could be boosted by the possibel return of midfield duo Junior Stanislas (ankle) and Andrew Surman (hamstring), who have an outside chance of playing.

Buhari may announce the replacement of the chiarman (EFCC) by january

Magu 6

Buhari may not further push for the confirmation of the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.
A source close to government disclosed that the President was already shopping for a replacement that may be announced as early as January.
The said that the President was no longer comfortable allowing someone that has been indicted in questionable dealings to lead his anti-corruption war.
“Anyone who knows PMB knows he highly regards DG of the DSS (Lawal Daura) and he is not likely to overlook a report prepared by his confidant,” he said.
“Magu himself did not help his case. How could someone awaiting confirmation make comment like he will never lobby the Senate for confirmation?
“Lobbying happens everywhere in the world. It is a recognized as a legitimate channel of communication. Perhaps Magu thought he was doing so well that PMB will fight the Senate for him. But have proven otherwise.
“The budget is at stake; PMB is trying to take loan and needs approval; these and other pending issues will not make the presidency fight the Senate over one person.
“Again, you will recall than an anti-corruption award was given to Ike Ekweremadu by EFCC, Magu authorized a statement that said something like EFCC doesn’t give award corrupt people.
“How could Magu openly attack the second in command of the Nigerian Senate and thinks that person and his colleagues will confirm him.
“People should stop thinking they are the only ones who can do a particular job. Many better hands are out there.
“On the other hand, the impending probe of former governors in the Senate played a role in the rejection. Although Magu could not have stopped them, he could have spoke less of going after them. They actually formed a block against the confirmation.
“This is a lesson to people. When your work is the type that put you against people, watch your tongue, at least until you get power. Magu said many things ordinary Nigerians wanted to hear, not what powerful Nigerians wanted to hear”, he added.
Asked what may become of Magu’s fate after a new person is appointed to take over, the source said he expects Magu to leave the EFCC.
He said, “The decision to remain in EFCC is up to him. But do you believe he will accept to serve under a new chairman having tasted power? I think otherwise.”
Meanwhile, Buhari had earlier asked for a review to be carried out on Magu’s response to the query sent to him by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
