Champions Enugu Rangers’ poor run this season continued as they were beaten 1-0 by Katsina United, Kano Pillars were hammered 3-0 by Abia Warriors in Umuahia and Nasarawa United won 1-0 at home against Shooting Stars.
Remo defeated visiting Wikki Tourist 2-1, El Kanemi beat Lobi 1-0, while Niger Tornadoes saw off Sunshine Stars 2-1
