Two Nigerian men, Chukwuma Collins, 35, and Nicodemus Obinn, 27, have been arrested in India for fraud.
The duo reportedly befriend their victims on social networking sites before carrying out fraudulent activities on them.
Following their arrest by a joint team of Delhi and Goa Police at the weekend, Times of India reports that Collins and Obinn confessed to the crime and disclosed that they had cheated several others in a similar way.
During interrogation, the duo claimed they had arrived in India five years ago for business and then started cheating people using different techniques.
According to the police, the suspects make up stories about the poor conditions of their family members living in western countries and ask the victims to help them with money. After receiving the money they sever all contact with the victims.
They are said to have been involved in several cases of fraud and a First Information Report, FIR was reportedly registered against them in Goa cyber crime cell.
A joint commissioner, crime, Ravindra Yadav, said one of their victims, Bridget Fernandes Rai, made a complaint to Goa Police, claiming to have been cheated of around Rs 8 lakh by the duo.
“The victim said she had befriended Collins on Facebook and after a few days of chatting, he started calling her. Collins started referring to her as his sister and asked for Rs 8 lakh to transfer some money and jewellery through a courier to his relatives.
“He claimed that the courier was stuck in legal processes at the customs department in Goa and he needed to get it delivered quickly as his wife had expired.
“Rai agreed to transfer the money to his account. As soon as the money was transferred, Collins disappeared. After some time, Rai received a call from the custom department, which raised questions regarding the parcel she had sent, and realised that she was duped.
“A team from Goa Police approached them in Delhi with technical surveillance. A joint team was formed to track the accused. The duo was arrested from Mahavir Enclave in south Delhi,” Yadav stated, adding that three laptops, seven data cards, 36 SIM cards and 26 mobile phones, three USB pen drives, were recovered from the suspects.

Goalkeeper Gets Four-year Ban For Kicking Striker In The Head During Match (Photos + Video)

fdt
Claudio Abarca of Chilean third division club General Velazquez was banned for four years on Friday for a shocking attack on Estacion Central forward Diego Diaz, which you can see in the video above.
After Diaz appeared to hit Abarca in the, er, private parts, the keeper responded with a SAVAGE kick to the forward’s head, breaking his jaw in three places.
The incident was so violent that Abarca was arrested by Chilean police on the pitch, whilst the game was halted so Diaz could be taken to hospital.
The goalkeeper was released the following day, but his four year ban means that he won’t be returning to the pitch any time soon.

Check Out The 9 Signs That The ‘Nice Guy’ Isn’t Actually That Nice

how-to-be-a-good-boyfriend-the-10-most-important-traits-of-a-good-boyfriend-love-relationship-theinfong-com_-300x173
Finding a nice guy without red flags is a priority for a woman, as you venture into relationships. But the unfortunate “nice guy syndrome” happens when you’ve been duped into thinking you’ve met a nice and genuine man who ends up being a major man-hood. Here are some signs that he might not be as kind-hearted as he’s making himself out to be.
1. He feels the need to bring up constant reminders of how nice he is – as if he always is trying to prove something. Generally, people that are faking it tend to go the extra mile, in that sense.
2. He compares himself to other guys who are assholes, and makes himself a saint in comparison. Yeah, right. Especially a red flag if he talks about how frustrating it is that girls always fall for “the bad guy”. Yup, a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
3. He lets you decide everything. This might seem cute in the beginning, but the inability to make his own decisions, and always agrees with you means that he’s suffering not just from nice guy syndrome, but lost boy syndrome, an equally annoying situation to face as a woman.
4. He talks shit about his exes – showing he’s clearly not the bigger person. A mature and nice guy knows not to talk badly about his ex and convince that he’s some sort of pitiful victim. He’ll probably talk shit about you once you break up as well!
5. Or he talks badly about other women generally. If he’s willing to talk shit and engage in petty cattiness with you rather than trying to get you to simmer down and namaste, that gossipy trait might mean he’s not so nice after all.
6. He avoids confrontation, but in a passive aggressive way. He tries to stay neutral, but it costs your needs and desires. He ends up avoiding with disagreements rather than dealing with them head-on, as you need to with a partner.
7. When things don’t go his way, it’s a my way or the highway attitude, this inability to compromise means that he’s really not a nice guy.
8. He has been in the friend zone a lot, and refers to it as the friend zone. Men who feel sorry for themselves when their platonic girl friends don’t have reciprocated females use the words “friend zone” and are prime example of male fragility.
9. He does and says a lot under the guide of humor, including making excuses. If you see him making rude comments or playfully commenting on how you take things too seriously, that funny gene might just be an a*****e gene.
