Abducted Lagos school pupils: ‘Security forces kill 14 militants, advance into creeks’

No fewer than 14 armed militants have been killed in gun battle with special forces deployed to comb the creeks and rescue the six children kidnapped from Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe, Lagos State on Thursday, The Nation learnt yesterday.
Yusuf Farouk, Ramon Isiaka, Pelumi Philips, Peter Jonas, Adebanjo George and Judah Agbaosi were abducted from their hostels around 6 am by gunmen in police uniform.
Their abduction followed a three-day unsuccessful attempts by the hoodlums who were stopped by policemen deployed to the school premises.
The gunmen eventually gained access into the school through a hole they made in the rear fence and whisked away their victims.
A source told our correspondent that the abduction of the pupils angered security chiefs in the state, who immediately deployed gunboats and tactical combat forces against the criminals.
The gun battle, which started in the early hours of yesterday, was still on at about 4pm, with friendly forces advancing deeper into the forest for possible location of the pupils.
A resident who hinted on the development told our correspondent that he saw marine policemen, army and navy personnel moving into the area the militants had been displaying might.
He said they heard sporadic gunshots from the lake, adding that friendly forces were advancing deeper into the creeks.
One of the parents whose child was kidnapped said he got information that 14 of the militants had been killed in the operation, adding that several others were injured.
She also said that two soldiers were allegedly hit by the militants’ bullets, but she would not know if they died.
The woman, who said the kidnappers were yet to contact any of the parents, appealed to them to release the pupils unhurt.
Her appeal came just as one of the pupils released by the gunmen on Thursday morning, Jibrin (surname withheld) said they were profiled and released because the boat could not contain all of them.
In a telephone chat with The Nation, Jibrin said he was released alongside Asari, Tobi and another Jibrin, adding that they were asked to push the boat before leaving.
He said: “They entered our hostel, took 10 of us and moved down to the waterside.
“When they got there, they realised that the speedboat could not contain all of us, so they started asking us questions.
“They asked me what my parents do for a living, and I told them that my parents were late. They asked me to stay aside.
“The others who also told them their parents were farmers, mechanics or petty traders were sent to that side. Then they told us to push their boat and we left.
“I saw garri, gunpowder and bullet inside the boat.”
The Chairman, Operation AWATSE, Rear Admiral Ferguson Bobai and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, confirmed that there was an ongoing operation in the area.
They said security personnel were deployed to comb the creeks and rescue the pupils, adding that nothing would be left to chance.
The security chiefs however said they could not make any comment on the killings, stating that they were yet to be briefed by ground forces on the state of affairs.
Bobai said: “I am aware Marine Policemen and our boys (military personnel) are currently in the area. But I cannot confirm if there were killings because operations are ongoing and I haven’t been briefed yet.”
Owoseni said: “Yes, we deployed policemen from the Marine unit and the Inspector General of Police’ (IGP) tactical team to the area.
“Soldiers and naval personnel are also involved in the joint operation.
“Our concern at the moment is to rescue all the students.
“I cannot confirm if there were killings or the number of people involved until I am briefed.
“The operation is ongoing.”
Reacting to the kidnapping, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in charge of Operations, Joshak Habila, assured that the pupils would be rescued in few days.
He said: “In the next few days, we would hear good news concerning the students. We have solved all kidnap cases before now because their victims have all been released. So, this will not be an exception.
“We are on top of the situation. Crime is bound to happen, and when it happens, what we should concern ourselves with is how to solve the problem. That is what we are doing.
“We are not joking, and you know that we are very serious when it comes to the issue of crime fighting, especially kidnapping.
“We are working round the clock and synergizing with sister agencies on how to rescue the children and arrest those behind the act.
“As you all know, police cannot be everywhere at the same time. Keeping policemen permanently in a secondary school is not the best, as it would affect the psychology of the students.
“The school is surrounded by water and we have fishermen fishing in the water. They would see strange faces coming with speed boats and they would keep quiet. The villagers would see strange people in their land and they wouldn’t call the police.
“People should embrace community policing and provide adequate information to the Police. That is the only way we can fight the kidnappers to a standstill.
“If you see something, say something

Police confirm arrest of IPOB, MASSOB members

The Police in Ebonyi on Saturday confirmed the arrest of some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in various part of the state for alleged unlawful sensitization programme.
The command’s spokesman, DSP Jude Madu, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday that the arrested suspects also included members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
Madu said that the suspects were arrested for unlawfully sensitizing the public to stay at home on May 30, in observance of the group anniversary.
“They would be charged to court and the command would ensure that they are duly prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others.
“IPOB and MASSOB are illegal groups and did not get permission from the police to embark on such exercise which threatens the peace and security of the state.
“The command with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Titus Lamorde, has commenced intensive sensitization of the populace to disregard the sit-at-home directive and go about their lawful businesses,” he said.
Madu warned members of the group not to carry out outlawed activities within the state before, during and after May 30, as the full weight of the law would be brought on any defaulter.
“Any person or group found culpable would be arrested and duly prosecuted as the groups’ activities amount to mutiny or fighting a sitting and legally recognized government.
“IPOB and MASSOB are techniques developed by some individuals to gain public interest and recognition as the former is even a breakaway organ of the latter.
“These groups have not provided amenities or other forms of social security for the people they are directing to stay at home; it shows that their intentions are not sincere and must be rejected by all,” he said.
He advised the groups that not everybody was interested in issues concerning secession as people still remember the horrors of the civil war and other upheavals in the country after then.
According to him, they should realize that most people are not interested in their preaching, therefore, they should not force anybody to be involved in their illegal and unlawful practices.
Madu called on traditional rulers and town unions across the state to assist the police in sensitizing the people and provide relevant information about the group’s activities.
“The command has distributed various call contacts (numbers) to the public to report activities of these groups within this period, especially molestation, if they refuse heeding to the stay-at home order.
“Any gathering of two or more people propagating the IPOB/MASSOB messages or executing related activities should be promptly reported to the police for immediate actions,” he said.
A NAN Correspondent who visited the state police command reports that the arrested IPOB members were upbeat and chanting solidarity songs.

If any DPO don't do without bribery pls leave Lagos - CP

Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, on Tuesday warned Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in the state police command to shun bribery or leave the state. Owoseni stated this during a lecture on Code of Conduct for Law Enforcement Officers at the Police Officers’ Wives’ Association (POWA) Hall, Ikeja.
He warned that the era of impunity and corruption among cops was gone, appealing to his subordinates to come for transfer if they would not want to play by the rules in the state.
He said: “I am tired of hearing about shooting or killing of innocent persons. No one has the right to take another man’s life. It is only God that has the right to take life.
“It is your responsibility as a DPO to know those who are collecting bribe under you. If you refuse to stop them, they will stop you from being a DPO.
“It is embarrassing to see policemen collecting bribes and chasing yahoo yahoo boys for a DPO. I would not cover any DPO. I will expose you. Just leave Lagos before I get to your station. I cannot share out of your misconduct. I will give your photographs and details to journalists to expose you.
“I am shocked to hear that some Area Commanders and DPOs are on the pay rolls of fraudsters. I am investigating. Just pray that I don’t get you. Just know that you are causing pains for taxpayers if you are intimidating them and collecting bribe from criminals.
“It is a curse to build a house with the money. The building would collapse on your head. Some of you even take people to the bank to collect money. If you train your children with the money, they won’t be useful to you.
“If those who were in the force before us bastardized it, we would not have the opportunity to be enlisted in the police. I am tired of pleading with police victims because you are doing what you are not supposed to do. Remember, one day, you are going to die and give account to your creator.
“Go back to your areas of jurisdiction and warn your men against brutality, indiscriminate use of handcuffs on pregnant women, elders and persons with disability.
“Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) should take note. I will not tolerate any act of indiscipline.
“Learn a lesson from DPO Ijeshatedo, who shot dead a fashion designer. He is in our custody and we are compiling charges against him. He would soon be arraigned in court.
“All DPOs in Ikorodu should use all resources within their disposals to fish out Badoo cult group that has been causing havoc in the community. I am giving you all 48 hours to decongest your cells. Nobody should be detained more than 48 hours. I will conduct checks on the cells.

Artistes’ managers to host charity match for motherless babies

Sijuade Adedokun, President, Association of Music Artistes Managers of Nigeria (AMAMN), says its charity match between artists and their managers was aimed at raising funds for motherless babies.
Adedokun, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos, said the match would be played on Friday at the Green Field Soccer pitch, Marwa Bus Stop at Lekki, Lagos.
He called on his colleagues in the music business to participate and support the charity match.
“The match will be a platform for stakeholders to give back to society by raising funds for motherless babies.
“A-list artistes like Olamide, 2face, Praise and other upcoming artistes will participate in the match, Adedokun said.
He added that the match would further bond artistes with their managers.
“It is worthy of note that it is the masses that make artistes stars from their patronage and giving back to them is what the artistes should continually do.
“The concept of giving back to society by pursuing humanitarian endeavours is core in knowing who is responsible and worthy of the glamour that comes with stardom,” Adedokun said.
He said that Lagos was the most populated with A-list stars and as such, should create a legacy for others to follow for the good of society at large.
“We are at the hub of entertainment in Nigeria and that has spurred us to take serious such humanitarian activities for people in other locations to emulate.

Moving to Qatar was a big decision -Babatunde

Though he is yet to be invited to the Super Eagles squad since Franco-German tactician Gernot
Rohr took charge, Qatari Sporting Club striker Michael Babatunde was amazing in the just
concluded season as he scored 25 goals along with 10 assists that ensured his side gained
promotion from the Qatargas league to the elite division, Qatar Stars League.
The 24 -year old spoke to thenff.com on his performance in the just concluded season, the
current Super Eagles under Coach Rohr, his aspiration and much more.
Excerpts:
How was the just concluded season for you?
Well, it was a fantastic season for me I must say. Initially moving to Qatar was a big
decision I had to make and My family and I reasoned together and when we were convinced that
the challenge and offer was good, I moved to Qatari SC. I scored a total of 25 goals for the
club this season with 10 assists in the just concluded season which was good enough to qualify
us from the QatarGas League to the elite division, the Qatar Stars League.
A lot of people wondered why you chose to go to Qatar at a very young age despite having
played for the Super Eagles at the FIFA World Cup in 2014?
Michael: After the World Cup in 2014, I had a deal to move from Dnipro in Ukraine to Morocco,
and that was Raja Casablanca, which I did. I played just five months where I scored 12 goals
with 15 assists and I won the award of the best player in the Moroccan league. A whole lot of
offers especially from Eastern Europe surfaced but you know, the experience I had playing in
Ukraine was not palatable at all and I didn’t want to go through that again. A situation where
the club isn’t fulfilling their contractual agreements and where they owe players, i couldn’t
have continued there just because I wanted to stay in Europe. So I moved to Raja and it was a
good experience for me because I was able to add my quota to help the club from the 14th spot
in the Moroccan league up to the 4th position before I left. The football in Qatar is highly
competitive and being a rich country, the clubs competing in the league are very strong with
very good players too in the league. I’m glad we have qualifed for the Qatari Stars League
where we have top players like former Barcelona captain Xavi, Ivory Coast’s Yannick Sagbo,
Mali’s and former Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita and Imoh Ezekiel of Nigeria.
Let’s talk about the Super Eagles. What do you think about the Super Eagles under German
tactician Gernot Rohr?
Michael: It is a fantastic set-up. The recent results of the team in the matches they’ve played
shows it. The players are young and technically sound. I commend the Nigeria Football
Federation for the appointment of Coach Rohr and I foresee better things to come for the Super
Eagles.
The last time you played for the Eagles was the friendly between Nigeria and Mali in France,
do you still crave for a chance in this Eagles?
Well, my invitation to the national team is in the hands of the handlers. I really
still crave for a chance in the Super Eagles especially among this young set up. I’m just 24
years old and at least have had some experience playing with the team in the past so I’ll jump
at any chance to feature for my country again. I think I need to focus on my job and that is
playing consistently and performing too. At least now I’m back in the elite league in Qatar, I
hope I’ll be given a chance soon, I really do look forward to it.
What do you think about the Super Eagles’ 2019 AFCON qualifier against South Africa and the
FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cameroon?
We are Nigeria and from the record I know, South Africa have never defeated us in a
competitive game so I believe that trend will continue when we play them in June. The last time
we played, they stopped us from qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 and its time
to take back our pound of flesh. The players we have are very good, i have no doubt that the
team will perform very well. For the Indomitable Lions, they are currently the champions of
Africa and we must have that at the back of our minds. But, I think the technical crew of Coach
Gernot Rohr will see how they perform at the FIFA Confederation cup and with that have more
knowledge of the team. I believe we have the players to beat Cameroon home and away. I’m not
boasting but I believe the Super Eagles will qualify in style for the World Cup.
Finally, the transfer window will soon be thrown open, do you have offers that may take you
out of Qatar SC?
Michael: For now I have a running contract with Qatar SC and now that we have qualified to play
in the Qatar Stars League its a good thing. So for now, I’m a player of Qatar SC. Yes, I
already have 8 offers, four from the Chinese Super League, two from the German Bundesliga, and
two from Turkey. Soon myself, my agent and Qatar SC will decide about my future.

Where are those wishing president Buhari death, click and see yours

Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina has decried false publications about the death of President Muhammadu Buhari who is London for follow up treatment.
In a article titled “The learnt Nothing, and forgot nothing” Adesina said it is wrong for any group of people to wish the President dead and clone websites of international media houses to announce the falsehood.
“Why do some people want their own President dead? Why do they want the eclipse of a man who is actuated by nothing other than love for his country? Why have they constituted themselves into enemies of national progress, haters of all that is good?
” But must any human being be hateful to the point of wishing another person dead, and indeed broadcasting a death that never happened? Shame. Shame upon evil wishers, purveyors of lies and wickedness. Do they have blood running in their veins at all? Do they realize that wishing another person dead, is sin before God?,” Adesina wrote.
Below is the full text of the article:
THEY LEARNT NOTHING, AND FORGOT NOTHING
By FEMI ADESINA
They showed their pernicious hands again last Sunday, and have been on the prowl since then, roaring like a lion, seeking who to devour. Purveyors of death they are, and they have killed President Muhammadu Buhari many times over, cloned the websites of international media houses to announce the hoax, but their wishes did not become horses, so they remain stranded, with nothing to ride.
Between January 19, this year, when the President first proceeded on vacation, and March 10, when he returned, they had announced his demise many times. They even created apocryphal images and footages to back up their inhuman claims, but God showed them He was the ultimate. The Real Deal, the Special One. President Buhari came back alive, and disclosed that he would still return to London at a later date for medical follow-up. He eventually left on the night of Sunday, May 7.
They saw the Deux ex machina, the Invisible Hands of God, between January and March, but they are so steeped and marooned in unbelief, evil wishes and malediction, that they have started all over again. Last Sunday, they cloned popular websites for the umpteenth time, using them to announce the figment of their diseased imagination. They learnt nothing, and forgot nothing from the immediate past experience. And you begin to ask yourself, just as the Good Book also asked:”Why do the heathens rage, and the people imagine vain things?” Why do they arrogate to themselves the power that belongs only to God? “I can kill, and I can make alive,” says God in His word. But these purveyors of hate possibly don’t know God. That is why they declare a man dead, when God has not said so. Once has God spoken, and twice have I heard it, that power belongs to God.
Millions upon millions of Nigerians love President Muhammadu Buhari. They love his simplicity, his forthrightness, incorruptibility, love of country, and many other virtues. And they are praying. Bombarding Heaven with petitions. Baba o, Baba o, Baba o. Olorun da Baba si fun wa, Baba o, Baba o, Baba o. Olorun da Baba si fun wa. Oh God, spare our Baba, the father of the country. Spare him for us, O Lord we pray. And Heaven is listening to the supplications. We await the full manifestation.
Millions of us can follow Baba blindfolded into battle. We love him that much, and it is within our rights. But have you seen a man ever loved by everybody? Show me. Even if you feed an entire city daily, some people still won’t like your guts. So, those who are not Buharists have a right to their convictions. But must any human being be hateful to the point of wishing another person dead, and indeed broadcasting a death that never happened? Shame. Shame upon evil wishers, purveyors of lies and wickedness. Do they have blood running in their veins at all? Do they realize that wishing another person dead, is sin before God? Yet they go to churches, mosques, and other worship houses. Who are they worshiping? The Unknown God.
Why do some people, a tiny but vocal minority, wish the President dead? Do they know that if God wills, the man they wish dead could outlive them by many years? There was a lady who was very active on social media in 2015, before the presidential election of that year. She was in the league of anti-Buhari elements. Oh, he was too old. Oh, he was sickly. Yes, he would soon die. The lady was rabidly pontifical in her convictions, parading herself as someone with a charmed life, who would live forever. And then, it happened! Sometime last year, she died! When I saw the news online, I just shook my head, and prayed for the repose of her soul. I did not gloat. No need to. Not in her wildest imagination could she have thought that she would pre-decease President Buhari. But who has the final say? Jehovah has the final say. The breath of man is in his nostrils, and God can decide to extinguish his candle at anytime. Jehovah has the final say. It is not by age, not by how healthy you seem, or how sickly you are. It’s a lesson some people have not learnt. They learn nothing, and forget nothing.
Back to the earlier question. Why do some people want their own President dead? Why do they want the eclipse of a man who is actuated by nothing other than love for his country? Why have they constituted themselves into enemies of national progress, haters of all that is good? Why do they prefer the dark jungle of infamy to the light of a clear and bright day, signposted by freedom from rapacity and lootocracy? Who then are these enemies?
“Our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10 percent, those that seek to keep the country divided permanently so that they can remain in office as Ministers or VIPs at least, the tribalists, the nepotists, those that make the country look big for nothing before international circles, those that have corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political calendar back by their words and deeds.”
Those were the words of Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, after the country’s first military coup in 1966. You may like Nzeogwu, or you may not, depending on how you view his actions and inactions. But you can hardly deny the veracity of what he said. And 51 years later, the words still ring true.
The enemies of Buhari are the political profiteers. To them, political office is not about service, but about making profit. Ordinary people can go to hell, and stay there. Personal profit is the name of the game.
The swindlers, too. Enemies of righteousness and transparency. They swindle man, and even try to swindle God. Of course, they wouldn’t want a new sheriff in town. They’d rather shoot him, and sing the reggae song:”I shot the sheriff…”
Those that seek bribe and demand 10 percent. Enemies. Only that they are not satiated by 10 percent again. They take the entire 100 percent, and leave the country prostrate. But when a Daniel comes to judgment, and hurls them before the law, knowing neither friend nor foe, they wish that he dies. Gerrout, so that business as usual continues, they shout.
Those that seek to keep the country divided permanently. Evil souls. They use all the fault lines. Religion. Ethnicity. Language. Everything. We saw it all in the 2015 elections. They cashed in on all things that divide us as a people. But Nigerians were resolute for change, and they got it. But did those people give up? Did Pharaoh desist from pursuing the people of Israel? Hell, no! Till he ended in a watery grave. The stubborn fly follows the corpse into the grave.
For the greater part of this year, President Buhari has been away from home. But whether present or absent, he still looms large. The mere fact that his shadow hovers over the land riles evil workers to no end. But what can anybody do? Jehovah has the final say.
The old order is giving way for a new one in Nigeria. In just two years, the back of insurgency has been broken, corruption is taking a shellacking, and the comatose economy is turning round. Despite it all, some people still wish the President dead. Sad and sorry. But thankfully, they don’t have the final say.
However, if they refuse to repent, we can repent on their behalf, lest judgment comes speedily on them. How dreadful it would be.
Lord, we are sorry,
We’ve turned around and gone astray,
Your trust for us we have betrayed,
Your power we don’t recognize
Your Lordship we have all despised,
We cannot pretend
We all now repent
Forgive us Lord we pray
Bring down your glory…
May God bless Panam Percy Paul, who sang the song. May God accept our repentance on behalf of evil wishers. May God spare our President, and restore him to full health.
Baba o, Baba o, Baba o, Oluwa da Baba si fun wa.
Lord, please spare our President. Spare him for us, to the glory of your name. Let those who learn nothing, and forget nothing, be purged of all evil. Let them turn new leaf.
Amen somebody!

Ekiti stands still for Late. Adebayo

Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, stood still for over two hours  yesterday as the body of the former Military Governor of old Western Region, Maj.-Gen. Adeyinka Adebayo, arrived to receive last respects from dignitaries and ordinary people.
Thousands of people defied the sweltering heat and thronged the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti, to honour the late general whose remains were brought into the arena at about 1.46 pm.
Governor Ayo Fayose and the family of the deceased led by the first son and pioneer civilian governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, arrived with the corpse alongside the funeral train.
The brown casket containing the remains of the war hero was draped the Nigerian green-white-green flag and Ekiti flag and was placed at a special dais placed at the centre of the stadium football pitch.
Dignitaries who witnessed the Day of Tributes and Lying-in-State included former Governor of old Ondo State, Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua; former Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Paul Alabi; former Military Administrator of Ekiti State, Navy Capt Atanda Yussuff; former Military Administrator of Ogun State, Commodore Kayode Olofinmoyin; Catholic Bishop of Ekiti Diocese, Most Rev. Felix Ajakaye; founder of the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola; members of the Ekiti House of Assembly and State Executive Council.
Interest groups like market women, artisans, women, youths, students, community associations and politicians who were mobilized from all parts of the state started trooping to the stadium as early as 8.00 am for an event scheduled to start by 11.00 am.
Shortly after the rendition of the national anthem and that of Ekiti, the Ekiti State Government Mass Choir ministered in songs.
Delivering a sermon at the event, the Government House Chaplain, Pastor Seyi Olusola, who quoted from Hebrews, Chapter 9, Verse 27,
stressed on the certainty of death for all mortals.
Olusola said Adebayo lived an exemplary life and was celebrated with a memorable burial, adding that burial for everybody born into the world
was sanctioned by the Scriptures in the Ecclesiastes, Chapter 6, Verse 3.
It was  tributes galore for the former Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE) after the sermon with some selected groups invited to testify to the virtues of the deceased during his lifetime.
Delivering the funeral oration on behalf of Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti, the late Adebayo’s alma mater, was Mr. Jadesola Babatola, whom he said entered the school in 1943 alongside other personalities like former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom,  Dr. Christopher Kolade; retired educationist, Chief Francis Daramola; and Mr. Akinola Jonathan.
Jadesola said Adebayo and his contemporaries had discipline and determination to succeed inculcated in them during their years at Christ’s School, adding that he was a patriotic general who constructed projects like dams, schools, hospitals and other public infrastructure during his tenure.
Former YCE Secretary General, Dr. Kunle Olajide, said the late Adebayo achieved greatness through diligence, industry and commitment to whatever assignment ahead of him.
Olajide said Adebayo deployed his time and skills to heal political wounds caused by the counter-coup of 1966 in the Western Region and  used his platform as YCE president to unite the Yoruba.
According to him, the greatest achievement of Adebayo was the political neutrality of the group during his presidency.
President of Ekiti Parapo in Lagos, Chief Esan Ogunleye, described Adebayo as a colossus, national hero and true Ekiti son who never forgot his roots, adding “he was a true pillar who brought us together in Lagos and his legacies live on.”
The Odoba of Ado Ekiti, Chief Alex Olu Ajayi, said Adebayo did his immediate predecessor, Lt.-Col. Adekunle Fajuyi, a honour by giving him a befitting burial after his death in the military counter-coup of 1966.
Ajayi noted that Adebayo gave his best to mankind and loved his God,  family, people and the Yoruba race.
Fayose praised Adebayo for his selfless service to the Western Region and the nation at large as a military officer who fought to keep the nation united.
The governor also eulogized the son of the deceased, Otunba Adeniyi, whom he described as “the first among equals and who remains a leader.”
Fayose said: “You remain our leader whether you are
In the APC or you are back in the PDP. You have paid your dues, you have represented us very well, you did your best and you have set the ball rolling and we are building on your work.
“I called on you to come and be the Chancellor of our university, but you cleverly turned it down because of politics and we believe with your experience, you will turn around the university for us.
“You are a replica of your father whom everybody has attested to as a peaceful man. We are celebrating him, we are not mourning him. I want everybody to pray for the Adebayo family to stand on the ideals of the General of Generals “Your father did his best; he remained the symbol of hope for governors yet to be and yet to be born. Each time he was coming to Ekiti, he would call me. He was a time keeper. If he says 3 o’ clock, he would be here.”
Fayose added: “He told me, don’t look at your critics, face your work.
He gave me counsel which I will not forget. I want you to
thank God for me because God does not make the mistake of having made me the man on the saddle at his departure.”
A member of the family of the deceased, Mr. Sunny Adeleke Adebayo, who gave the vote of thanks appreciated the entire Ekiti people for their
outpouring of love during the obsequies of their patriarch.
The Ekiti State government choir rounded off the Day of Tributes and
Lying-in-State with the Halleluyah Chorus.
The remains of the late general will be interred today after a funeral service at the All Saints Anglican Church, Iyin-Ekiti.

Hassan Rouhani re-elected as Iran president

Iran’s President, Hassan Rouhani, has won a second term in office.
Out of some 40 million votes cast, he received more than half of those counted, with some areas still to declare, officials said on state TV.
Mr. Rouhani, a moderate who agreed a deal with world powers to limit Iran’s nuclear programme, would thus avoid a second-round run-off.
His main challenger has complained about alleged voting irregularities, the BBC reports.
Ebrahim Raisi, a conservative cleric, accused supporters of Mr. Rouhani of hundreds of acts of propaganda at voting booths, which are banned under electoral law.
Results from urban areas – much more likely to support Mr. Rouhani – have not yet come in.
State TV congratulated Mr. Rouhani on his victory.
Near-complete results showed he had gained 58.6 per cent of the vote, compared with Mr. Raisi’s 39.8 per cent.
Voting time was extended by five hours on Friday, until midnight, amid an unexpectedly high turnout of about 70 per cent.
Election officials said the extensions to voting hours were due to “requests” and the “enthusiastic participation of people.”

Wonder!!! Click to see how you can enlarge your small manhood and make your woman feel better than before

My name is Mrs.Rose, and I got married to my husband about 2 years ago. We have one kid already and when we started the marriage, our sex life was great.
But recently, I discovered that my husband could hardly get hard erections, and anytime he wants to penetrate me during sex. His manhood will be numb and soft.
And when we had sex he could not perform for up to 3minutes before he will release his semen everywhere.
He always had an excuse of too much stress and pressure from work and so on.
Even most of the time, I would be the one to initiate the sex. I was frustrated, sad and confused.
How could I continue with a man that is suffering from weak erections and premature ejaculation for the rest of my life?
…a man that could hardly satisfy me in bed and can’t last up to 3minutes during sex?
Even worse his manhood is so small and it hardly pleases me!
I almost cheated on him with my ex-boyfriend because truth be told my ex was a complete man in bed and handles me during sex the way I want it.
But I did not want to hurt my marriage that was already collapsing.
For months, I and my husband did not have sex, no romance and no intimacy.
Then something happened that changed the entire situation and saved my marriage.
You see, when I talked to my husband about these 2 problems and we started looking for solutions, we tried several products that did not work.
Until we came in contact with a family friend, who is also a men health specialist that recommended 2 natural solutions for us.
He gave my husband a herbal supplement that helped him cure his weak erections problem and premature ejaculation.
The first product the men health specialist recommended for my husband is Japanese-made enlargement oil that helps men increase manhood size and also makes erection harder and stronger.
My husband started using the enlargement oil and within 2 weeks I was seeing increase in my husband manhood. His small manhood have now increased in both length and girth… it is becoming bigger and fatter.
Apart from increase my husband’s manhood size, another thing I noticed his that my husband quick ejaculation issues was now a thing of the past.
The enlargement oil makes you delay your ejaculation so you do not release too fast during sex with your woman.
Also it helps to strengthen your manhood and cure your weak erections.
So the enlargement oil helped my husband go up to 20minutes when having sex with me, and continuous application of the oil increased his manhood size to 5.3inches.
What he simply does is to use the enlargement oil to massage his manhood and testicles in the evening before going to bed.
The enlargement oil is safe, it has no side effects and its for external use only.
Truth is, I was surprised that my husband situation finally improved when he started using the MK enlargement oil.
  • No more 1 minute of sex and releasing too quick, instead we make love for 20minutes and he is still thrusting my vagina like a real man
  • His manhood was already increasing, he measured it and it has increased by 2.5inches within the first 2 weeks and 3 days
  • His manhood was now BIGGER and BETTER, so I love to give him blowjob before sex, and to play with his manhood
Secondly, the men health specialist also recommended a NAFDAC approved herbal supplement that helped my husband to restore his sexual stamina during sex, cure his premature ejaculation and weak erections.
You see, the truth about premature ejaculation and weak manhood is that it’s mostly caused by too much sugar in the body system, over masturbation and infections.
Mascum Herbal Pride contains 50 capsules and within 2 weeks of my husband using it, his body system was renewed and his sexual performance improved. He started lasting 20minutes in bed and the problem of releasing during foreplay was gone for good.
The best part about Mascum Herbal Pride is that
  • it’s 100percent natural, it has no side effect on you even if you are a diabetic or hypertensive patients.
  • Also, it’s safe for Nigerian men no matter how old you are.
  • Even though you have been struggling with these problems of premature ejaculation and weak erections for years, it will surely help you permanently cure it.
  • Just 1 container of mascum herbal pride is enough to cure you of your sexual problems and end the miserable life of living with poor erections and quick ejaculation
  • Once you start using it, you no longer have to suffer from watery sperm, just use mascum herbal pride with natural honey to cure watery sperm
Right now, I and my husband are enjoying sex like we are young couples again. No more fights and quarrel anymore in our home because he satisfies me like a man should do.
It’s not about being rich or being handsome… it’s about how your manhood down there can perform during sex.
If you can’t get good erections when you wake up in the morning, or you release within 2mins of making love to your woman, then you need the 2 solutions right away.
If you ignore your problem, then get ready to face the consequences because your girlfriend will soon start complaining and she may run to another man that can satisfy her.
Listen, the main reason why I decided to share our true life story is because I know that millions of Nigerian men suffer from this poor erections and quick ejaculation problem.
Most men keep it in silence or do nothing about it because they have tried several things in the past that did not work.
But I recommend you use Mascum and MK enlargement oil so that you will finally be free from these big problems … so you can satisfy your woman in bed.
Do not procrastinate; ensure you get the 2 solutions now, because your woman will not tell you,
  • but one day she will start cheating on you with another man that can satisfy her better than you

  • or she will start picking quarrels and fights with you… all because she is frustrated about your sexual performance
  • She will start denying you of having sex with her, after all you won’t last more than 2minutes in bed with her and your manhood is like that of baby
  • even worse, she will go for a man that has a bigger manhood that can fuck her very well
If you don’t want these things to happen to you, then Click Here Now To Get The Mascum And MK Enlargement Oil That Cured My Husband
Bad news is that, the men health specialist will allow just the first 100 Nigerian men get access to these powerful solutions at a Discount, Reduced Price.
