Popular Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu, better known by his stage name as Runtown, is currently trailed with dirty controversy after he was accused of sleeping with one of his promoter’s fiancee, which has led to the cancellation of their engagement. HKN Gang boss, Davido, had earlier dropped the hint of Runtown’s messy romance with his promoter’s babe in a Snapchat post where he warned people to ‘Keep Y’all wife away from Runtown.’

The controversy however fuelled up on the Instagram page of popular online platform, The Comment Section, where an online user confirmed Davido’s warning, adding that Runtown is guilty of the illicit affair with the fiancee of popular promoter of King Kong known as BadGuy Toba, who had last year, thrown a viral engagement proposal for his babe with a N6 million engagement ring. It was gathered that BadGuy Toba found out about the incident between his fiancee and Runtown whom he had allegedly introduced to his girlfriend innocently last year, and immediately called off the engagement and deleted all photos of his would-be bride from his social media account.

Southern Kaduna Crisis: BBOG challenges Buhari to personally visit area

buhari
The BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to personally visit Southern Kaduna and access the level of wanton killings allegedly perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen.
BBOG said the President’s visit to the volatile area will help pave way for and ensure quick stability in the area.
The coalition group made the call in a statement during its procession to protest the lingering Southern Kaduna killings in Abuja.
Observing that the President had repeatedly promised to look into the crisis, the group said no traceable steps had being taken by the federal government.
It noted that the killings might become a replay of the insurgency in the North-East if it is not speedily addressed.
It said, “Sadly, President Muhammadu Buhari has repeatedly promised these would be looked into. However, no verifiable steps have been taken up to launch a government review of these many troubling reports in order to take appropriate preventive and punitive measures.
“The worst carnage is presently ongoing in Southern Kaduna and most of the killings are unreported. Killings are alleged by the indigenes and residents of communities in Southern Kaduna to be rampant still despite the recent mobilisation of military and police teams.
“We hereby demand, as a movement that does not wish to see a replay of the North-East destabilisation; that President Muhammadu Buhari should immediately visit Southern Kaduna to assess the situation for himself as the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
“Following the visit, we expect a quick stabilisation of the situation in Southern Kaduna to pave the way for peace and reconciliation, which should be led by the state government.”

Mourinho received £8.3m pay-off from Chelsea

jose-mourinho-manchester-united_3760129
Chelsea paid Jose Mourinho and his backroom staff £8.3million, after he was sacked as manager in December 2015.
This was revealed in the club’s full accounts for the 2015/2016 season.
Despite a record turnover of £329.1m and a £49m profit on player trading, the Stamford Bridge outfit posted a £70.6m loss.
The reason for this, is that the club paid kit supplier Adidas £67m in compensation for cancelling a 10-year deal six years early, so they could sign a bigger deal with Nike.
Chelsea also finished 10th in the Premier League and had no cup success, which means they did not earn any prize monies.

FG made a scapegoat out of Jim Obazee – Hon. Mike Adeniyi

IMG_20160920_131044
Lawmaker, Hon. Mike Adeniyi Omogbehin, has explained that it was high time Nigerian laws be reviewed.
In an exclusive interview in Abuja, member representing Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency of Ondo State noted that the sack of Jim Obazee, former Executive Secretary of Financial Regulatory Council (FRC) for directing General Overseers of Churches and non-governmental organisations to step down after 20 years, was unfortunate, saying government made a scapegoat out of him.
He reasoned that the former Executive Secretary was empowered by the law to issue the directive, stressing that if he did that within the precincts of his responsibilities that led to the resignation of Pastor Adeboye as G. O. of RCCG, Nigerian government ought to have been cautious on the issue.
“The sack of Jim Obazee seems to me that government made a scapegoat out the gentleman, whom I have never met before in my life,” he said.
“It is high time we became cautious on issues of this nature as such removal could serve as a wet blanket for being an administrator in the future”, he added.
Omogbehin further explained that government’s action was precipitated on reasons that it should not be seen to be against the church and Nigeria Christians
He, however, disagreed with Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose who believed the sack of FRC Executive Secretary was to pacify Christians ahead of 2019 elections which President Buhari likely to seek re-election.
“I am a member of the PDP and my leader, Ekiti State governor is a senior member of the party, but I want to disagree with him for the first time, because the controversial code was put in place during PDP’s administration,” he maintained.
He said Obazee was implementing those codes which unfortunately generated public outcry that got him into trouble, stressing, he would have taken into consideration the administrative elements of those codes by seeking National Assembly legislations.
