See What Happened To A Student After Going Out To Party With Teacher (See Here)

A female student has met a bad fate after she unwittingly diverted from an errand to go to a party with a male teacher.

A secondary school student has died in Vuyiya village, Vihiga County in Kenya, after a night out partying with a teacher who is then said to have assaulted her sexually, The Kenyans reports.

The report reveals that the 16-year old had reportedly been sent home to collect Sh1,000 which she was given but on returning to school, she failed to submit the money and was sent away again. The incident happened in Kenya.

It was gathered that the little girl was sent on an errand but instead of going home, she diverted and visited a teacher identified as Silas Muhadia who she met on Facebook.

“After being sent home, she hitched a boda-boda ride to Kegoye Secondary School to see the teacher. It was the first time that the girl and Silas Muhadia were meeting,” the girl’s mother, Linet Keseri narrated.

When evening reached, the teacher is said to have taken the girl to a nightclub where he supposedly forced her to take alcohol having bought her civilian clothing to conceal her identity.

According to Ms Keseri, the student recalled that the teacher booked a lodging at Club Base in Majengo market where he demanded to “get value for his money”.

The teenager later escaped from the lodging and started walking amid darkness, but was reportedly abducted, drugged and later dumped at Nyamasaria in Kisumu.

According to the mother, after reporting her daughter’s disappearance, police launched a hunt for the student who was traced by DCI officers through her Facebook account which was active.

“They found her at Ukwala and she was taken to Vihiga police station where she recorded a statement. Police advised us to take her for a medical check-up before she could be interrogated further,” divulged the mother.

The student was taken back to school but fell ill a day later and was admitted at Mungoma hospital in Majengo on November 1.
Her situation worsened after she fell into a coma and unfortunately died barely a week afterwards.

‘It’s a scam': Nigerians warned against investing in MMM

The house of representatives has vowed to
investigate the Monrodi Moneybox (MMM) scheme
in a bid to “save Nigerians from falling prey to
fraudsters”.
The rate of Nigerians investing in the MMM scheme
has been on the rise in the last three months.
The resolution of the house to investigate the
scheme was sequel to a motion sponsored by
Saheed Fijabi.
While moving the motion, Fijabi noted that the
scheme was set up by three Russian nationals in
1989.
He said clients were made to invest monies with
the hope to make 30 percent interest in 30 days.
Fijabi said the scheme had no legal backing.
“The scheme’s structure and operations indicate
otherwise as their clients can have multi-level
structures under them and receive bonus (in
percentage) from each financial transaction of every
participant in their structures,” the legislator told
the house.
“It is worthy of note that the government of China
banned the operations of MMM on the ground that
it was a payment pyramid scheme without
registration in the country and has the capacity to
cause financial havoc in the system.”
He said that the scheme capitalised on the high
level of unemployment and poverty in the country.
On his part, Leo Ogor, minority leader of the
house, said it was not possible to invest one naira
in a business and get back one hundred naira as
profit.
“This whole thing is a scam. The Central Bank
should warn the public to avoid falling victim of it.
There is no where in the world somebody will
invest one naira in a business and get back one
hundred naira as profit,” he said.
The house mandated its committees on banking
and currency to investigate the scheme and report
back for further legislative action.
The house adopted the motion after it was put to a
voice vote, with the “ayes” having it.

The woman said she decided to present the gift
to Buhari to show her admiration for “his
selfless lifestyle and passion to liberate the
masses”.
Egbon, who said she had been longing to meet
the president, had the opportunity when Buhari
was commissioning the ultra-modern Samuel
Ogbemudia College in the state capital.
“She tore through the thick crowd, making her
way straight to the president who at the time
had finished the official engagement and was
heading for his waiting car,” NAN quoted a
protocol official at the scene of the incident as
saying.
“Many in the crowd got emotional seeing the
elderly lady pull through the crowd with the
goat, determined to make a presentation to the
president.
“Gov. (Adams) Oshiomhole, who noticed the
security cordon between the lady and the
president, came to her rescue.
“He (Oshiomhole) alighted from the president’s
convoy to receive the goat on behalf of the
president.”
She thanked the president for accepting the gift,
which was reportedly handed over to protocol

FG: US-based Nigerians can return if Trump makes life difficult

Audu Ogbeh, minister of agriculture, says Nigeria will welcome its citizens in the US home if Donald Trump, president-elect, makes life uncomfortable for them over there.

Speaking with state house correspondents after the federal executive council (FEC) meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, Ogbeh expressed shock at Trump’s victory.

Ogbeh said Nigeria might re-tool its foreign policy if Trump turned out to be a sectional president.

“I’m in a bit of shock, but we’re witnessing some very dramatic changes in the world, and I think some of these things began many years ago,” he said.

“The current economic theory ravaging the world is now reaching the poor and the ordinary people. It’s causing a lot of stress. Brexit happened, America has done this now. Many other countries are going to have near extremism ruling the minds of people.

“The rest of the world will have to then carefully watch and see the impact first. He made comments about Nigerians when he was campaigning that they had stolen money, they should go back to their country and live.

“He has a very low opinion of the blacks and Hispanics. We hope he’ll become a president now for all, including Nigerians and others, resident in the US.

“But if he doesn’t, it means we’ll have to re-tune and re-tool our foreign policy to begin to find a situation where we may have to be welcoming some of our people if they come under extreme pressure. We hope it doesn’t happen.”

Ogbeh described the US president-elect as a capitalist who has succeeded in “bringing the system down”.

“Trump himself is one of those capitalists who have managed to exploit the system, but have now turned around to bring down that system,” he said.

“I do hope that he can manage the US without falling into the trap he thinks he has freed the others from. Because eventually when he gets to Washington and begins to feel the pressure of the White House, he may not be as calm as he was this morning when he was accepting the victory, I can assure you. Those jobs exert a lot of pressure.
